We compress from the middle out — not the edges in.

Traditional codecs scan a file end to end and settle for the patterns they happen to find. Middle-out starts at the densest region of entropy and expands outward in both directions at once, so every pass finds more redundancy than the last. The result is lossless output at ratios classical compression treats as mathematically impossible.
